Use These Two Apps to Make Better Instagram Video

I love Instagram. I post pictures and videos pretty much everyday there, and I love browsing through everyone else’s beautiful pictures and vids.

I originally had my doubts about video on Instagram. I love editing pictures and posting them there, but video?

Since I’ve been using it, though, I’ve come across some great apps to help make videos look even better on Instagram, and I wanted to show them with you today. (By the way, follow me on Instagram – @drpoulette)

Check the video below (or on Youtube) to see what I’m talking about.

Get Your Kids to Read with Kindle Unlimited

If you’re like me, you want your kids to read. A lot. My oldest son has recently begun enjoying reading. He will stay up way past his bedtime and read in his bed. I hate it and I love it at the same time.

It’s hard to argue with him when he just wants to read, especially since he’s homeschooled and doesn’t have to wake up super early in the mornings.

His favorite books had been the Big Nate series, so we went to the library and checked out pretty much every single Big Nate book available. We even bought some used copies online. He and his little brother devoured those books. It was like a feeding frenzy. We couldn’t get them to go to bed at night.

New YouTube Channel for Daddysmac.com

I just finished creating the brand new YouTube channel for this website, where I will be giving you more in-depth reviews and details about different apps, services, or products that I’m using to be more productive, better at parenting, or just having fun with.

So…I’d appreciate it if you headed over to the channel (it only has one video on it as I write this) and subscribed.

I will be posting videos to the channel that include reviews of products that are helping me out right now as well as just stuff I love.

Thanks so much for your support!

Do you have a YouTube channel? If so, let me know in the comments so I can go subscribe to your channel as well.

I Heart my GoPro

I’m not sure if I’m the only one, but I am a binge technology user. I get into a habit of using a specific gadget and then neglect the other “must-have” things that I bought a few months earlier.

I wonder if I’m the only one like that. I doubt it.

Trip It Keeps You Organized While Traveling

I just returned from a trip to Bucharest, Romania. It was an incredible trip. I had a lot of fun with my friends there, and my class (the reason I went) went very well.

I’m not very good at keeping myself organized when it comes to traveling. My travel documents usually get lost somewhere, and the confirmation emails get filed away in my email system, making it difficult to get to them when I need them.

I don’t usually memorize my itinerary when traveling. I just remember that I need to know the next step in the process of getting to my final destination. I don’t study my flight itinerary and usually don’t look at it until a few days before my actual flight.

I’ve started using TripIt on my iPhone to help me get more organized. You simply register for the service and then forward your confirmation email to plans@tripit.com and it will appear on your phone in the application.
